IRS.gov has opened up a portal for non-filers to enter their bank information. What about

the millions of people who filed their taxes and received their refunds by check? I guess they will be adding another portal later to the web site for them. Why didn't they just include all people who did not give their bank information to the government? Sorry, that would make sense.

who file taxes and don't get refunds electronically are going to get their money. I suppose I am asking too much of the asshats who run Trumpist Dumbfuckistan to expect an answer in a simple declarative sentence. I am out of fucks to give about how they send it, I just would like to know out of intellectual curiosity. I have no intention of providing my bank info to a government that already has it.

so if you receive a monthly check, you will receive a check, but it takes longer than direct deposit.

I gave my bank info when I filed the 2018, but to pay them. I suppose they can use that info to refund me, or my SS bank info. I'll just wait to see what happens. We're not particularly short of money at the moment, so when it arrives isn't critical.

What they will do about people who get Social Security by direct deposit, but do file returns has not been addressed, as far as I know.

I don't care much about when we get the money, it is the lack of communication that galls me.

Now it's a big deal. I could not have predicted that.
