Both of them are stable geniuses.

Tomi's headed for a Cabinet post with that kind of news release. Maybe she can take over Hope's job of ironing Trumpy's pants-- while Trumpy wears them. Maybe Tomi and Hope can team up and press both of Trumpy's pant legs at the same time. And of course, his zipper doesn't need ironing. Does it?

You can start by bagging groceries at the supermarket or cleaning bedpans at a hospital, instead of asking others to risk their lives while you sit at home tweeting on your phone.

In reality she'll encourage others to risk it as she watches from her safe place to see the results

They push this left and right, yet they want others to be the first to go out and risk their lives.

A quick Google search confirmed it.

shopping for my 79 year old MIL), and he might have been the only person not wearing a mask. It was all I could do to not ask him why he thought he wasn't at risk.

If they weren't such a danger to the rest of us, I wouldn't mind people like Tomi Laren getting right back out there.

On May 1-ish:

Individuals will just start getting on planes to fly off on leisure?

Folks will go back to buying aspirational homes, cars and durable goods like nothing ever happened?

Shoppers will head out on weekends for endless hours of retail therapy?

Restauramts and bars will instantly fill to capacity due to pent-up demand?

Of course I ask these questions rhetorically because we all know that consumer spending will be in the ditch for as long as their is no proven treatment or vaccine. Anyone not practicing coronavirus protection until then is doing so at their own peril.

Trump and the Republicans are on a rescue (suicide?) mission to prop the economy up at all costs before the November elections.

God save this country.

Exactly. Go ahead and reopen the economy. They seem to think people will go out in droves to contribute to the economy on day 1. I'm sorry, I don't see that happening.

Those who are vulnerable and take this seriously, and those who may not be as vulnerable but care about others, will stay at home and protect themselves/others. If those who watch Fox News want to get back out and spread it to each other, let them, especially if it's at Trump's encouraging. He'll own whatever consequences there are of that decision, and if fewer of his supporters are around to vote for him, well, so be it. I'm not rooting for anyone to die, not even MAGA's, but if they want to put themselves in danger that's on them.
