Good news for those who receive food stamps. They have increased the amount.

I received a phone call this morning telling me my benefit had increased.

I called the number on my card and the increase has already been added.

The amount I received for a single member household more then doubled !!!

I've long been of the opinion that everyone (however exactly we want to classify "everyone&quot should get SNAP. It would help out a lot of people who simply don't qualify under the current system, and might help more well off people understand why it's important.

I'd use my benefits to buy food for the homeless, myself.

I've decided I'm going to take my stimulus money and give half to a local homeless shelter where I volunteer, and the other half to one of the local food banks. As soon as they money hits my account I'll call each and find out how they want me to get the money to them.

you're gonna need it. Sale items fly off the shelf first, leaving only full price items to be bought. Supermarkets may well be seeing profit margins go up because of that very fact.
