Gotten any robocalls lately?

I know this post will jinx me but I haven't received any it a least three weeks. Is this another benefit of the virus crisis?

and having fun with them. I say “Thank you for calling Bill’s Pizza. Is this for delivery or takeout?” Done it about 10 times lately and each time the next thing I hear is a click.

The voice spoke in an Asian language (could be either Chinese or Vietnamese). Since I don't understand either I hung up.

I usually do things to piss them off, like ask them to repeat their name, make fun of the name, demand to speak to their supervisor, and so forth. Lately, though, I just say, "There's a global pandemic ravaging the population, and all you can think of to do is call people to rip them off. What kind of a person are you?"

They sound like real people but if I don't give an expected response, I can hear the recording (or computer program) scramble and start at a place that has nothing to do with what I said.

It's a failed Turin experiment as far as I am concerned, so I keep them on for a few minutes until it switches me out - either to a live person or off their line.

I had one on April 8 in Chinese. Before that was one on March 29.

Pure bliss! I used to get an average of 8 per day.
