IHME COVID-19 Projections

Not sure to completely trust this projection model, at least in regard to the state of Illinois, where I live.

It projects by August 4, we will have 770 deaths due to COVID-19. Well, our death number is already at 720! By the end of today, we might even surpass the projected death number.

Their predicted figure for August is actually 1,248. Their prediction for today (which, to be fair, was adjusted through yesterday's data) was for 73 new deaths taking the total to date up to 793. According to today's reporting, they were short by one in both cases.
