Aren't cabinet secretaries mostly figureheads whose deputies carry out the administration's policies? The worst mistake President Obama made was appointing two outstanding Democratic governors (Kathleen Sebelius and Janet Napolitano) to largely decorative positions as heads of HHS and Homeland Security. They both were replaced by vile rePuke governors, much to the detriment of their states.

And tho I like him miles above Harris, Hatris would be the best AG.
