I am embarrassed that I thought Stamps.com was part of the USPS

3. The URL extension is the key.

.com = is a commercial website

.gov = is a government website.

There are other extensions as well, but those two are important.

I bought some beautiful stamps from them this AM but the 'stamps' portion is overwhelmed; there were many posts on FB telling people to patronize USPS and buy stamps from them.
