A growing number of restaurants are offering produce, dry goods and pantry staples to customers, in addition to their normal menu items. It helps customers buy essential items, provides restaurants with a source of revenue — and addresses a sudden disconnect in America's food supply chains.

That's because in many cases, different supply chains provide food to restaurants than to grocery stores.

"There are some players that sell food only only for restaurants — which means they have big bags of food, they don't have a brand," says JP Frossard, a consumer foods analyst at Rabobank. "The distribution is different. The type of product may be different."

1. I heard on TV tonight that the restaurant supply houses have a lot of inventory and the grocery

stores are having difficulty getting enough of some products. Quite understandable under the current mess we're in. I'll have to check if any of the restaurants around me are doing that.

Really bad was really sick.
It was like 2 days before money came in so my ex walked to mc Donald's and asked our friend working there for tp help. He brought home a humgous roll wrapped in tissue paper. The roll core I would put around my forearm to pull the paper off. I was so thankful and that roll lasted almost a friggin month!! For shits and allergies we both had. It seemed to never end that roll.
