No other American President has every signed their name to a Treasury Check. It is always signed by the Secretary of the Treasury or other Treasury official.

Trump is clearly doing this for political gain. This is an abuse of power, like the campaign video Tuesday that was created in the White House by staffers that violates campaign laws.
