is anyone else getting that message?
https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof-wmsp/notice
Link is to tracker.
I owed in 2018 and 2019, I delayed paying 2019 till end of June. Looks like that might be the issue. Fortunately I am not in need here but I do want to get the money at some point.
update
I think the problem for me is that my return has actually been rejected unbeknownst to me. I have fixed that now and will have to try tomorrow to see if that works.

(22,920 posts)I know I'm eligible, as is my daughter, but the same message came up for both of us.
Our situation is this:
She filed in 2019, but they don't have her banking info, so I was hoping that tool would allow us to insert that. But we got the same message you got.
I filed in 2018, not 2019 yet. I make installment payments, so they have my bank info, though I keep seeing that it's bank info tied to refunds, which I never get.
My SO, however, filed in 2018, got an electronic refund, and he got the stimulus deposit overnight.
Sharing all that in case those of us getting that message see a pattern...lolol.
Same thing.

(10,901 posts)Because I owed, I didn't provide direct deposit info on that return. And I haven't paid what I owed, and don't intend to pay until a few days before July 15.
I did provide direct deposit on my 2018 return as I was getting (and got) a refund.
I also get Social Security checks that are direct deposited. For a few years now.
But strangely, after I entered my SS#, date of birth, and street address, it told me they don't have direct deposit info for me. So I entered it, and also answered questions about my 2019 AGI and how much I owed. When done, it said:
You have successfully submitted your bank account information. Your payment will be direct deposited into your bank account using the information you provided.
Bank Account Type: Checking
Bank Account Number: ************(showing last 4 digits)
Bank Routing Number: ******(showing last 3 digits)
I'm sure glad I stumbled across this thread. Thanks for posting

(864 posts)I think they are only dealing with those who filed right now and will get to social security recipients in the second round -- within 10 days hopefully.

(17,427 posts)I haven't given them bank information for many years unless they save it from checks I send in.
2019 not yet filed. 2018 was filed and accepted in November 2018.
I am a SS recipient via direct deposit, so it looks as if I should be OK for the payment.
From previous experiences with the IRS I suspect the tool is not working at 100% yet (if ever).

(31,381 posts)It told me I was eligible, but made me verify the information of AGI on 2019 return as well as tax owed and give them my bank account number.
I finished my taxes before going on vacation in early March. Filed on-line (using Turbo-Tax) and set up the payment date for them to take the money out of my account April 10th, which they did. You'd think all the info would be in their system, but for some reason I had to provide it.
Maybe now I'll get my reduced payment. Thanks to 2019 being an oddball year where I first became eligible for widow's benefits from Social Security and survivor's benefits from a civil service pension, my AGI was a lot larger than it was in 2018 when I owed no taxes, or will be from now on when it has stabilized. Well, whatever they do end up paying to me I will probably donate.

(12,265 posts)Have not filed 2019 because we owe 600 and I have until July so we are waiting. I get SS so they have our info.

(1,301 posts)I have taxes deducted from my paycheck, but my husband is self-employed, so we always owe.
He filed our taxes a few days ago, and has the payment set up electronically for today, so well see if that does the trick.
