Tennessee school districts will make their own decisions whether or not to follow Gov. Lee’s recommendation

Public schools in Tennessee should stay closed through the rest of the school year due to the coronavirus pandemic. That recommendation came Wednesday afternoon from Gov. Bill Lee.

Gov. Lee chose not to mandate that schools remain closed, instead he is leaving that decision up to each school district.

KY has wonderful Dem gov! That is probably the comparison you saw.

Don't give Lee too much credit, though becausr far as I know he was 1st gov to announce reopening early May to go along with what dump wants. 😳

His prob is Nashvegas & Memphis are botg very Dem!

So good luck to the asshat!

I think he is frustrated cuz both Nashvegas & Memphis are big Dem areas. I highly doubt Dem leadership in Memphis will go along with the ridiculous idea of reopening early May to go with what dump wants.

What an idiot.

I thought he would open schools as daycare for working parents.

Could he be listening to scientists? Experts? Nah - antithetical to being a repuke.

The man literally said "Who could have seen this coming" in March during a conference call with health care facilities. Um, we all did Mr Lee that's why we were fucking prepared!!
