Restaurants are getting creative during the COVID-19 lock-downs...

The L.A. Times has an article about restaurants that are now selling groceries along with their menu items in hopes of keeping business afloat. I thought that was brilliant.

But one of the more creative ideas was told to me tonight: a restaurant in Redondo Beach, California gives a free roll of toilet paper with each to go order.

I love this!!

(and here's the link to the L.A. Times article:

...although, I'm not sure if you need a membership to view).

I can't read past the paywall either, but two Italian places are listed in this piece:

Bettolino Kitchen – Still open at 211 Palos Verdes Blvd. in Redondo Beach, the new takeout/delivery hours are from 12p.m. – 8p.m. If you’re short on toilet paper, they even have an offer of adding a 6-pack of toilet paper to your order for $7.50! They’re even offering 50% off a bottle of wine when you add it to your order.

Lido di Manhattan – Located in the Bristol Farms shopping center at 1550 Rosecrans Ave. in Manhattan Beach, Lido di Manhattan is offering up a variety of new promotions during their new hours of 4:30p.m. – 8p.m. They have Family Meals for larger (4-6) or smaller families (2-3) or even a Grocery Essentials package complete with eggs, milk, ciabatta bread and a 6-pack of toilet paper! They’ll even come and drop your food directly in your trunk for you!
