I have found it easy and successful to shop online...

Mostly, it is very successful and I keep and like the item I ordered. Sometimes I return it (easily). I have a mailing service nearby enforcing social distancing in the store. Return bags are usually pretty easy for returning items.

I have bought shoes, a nightgown, underwear, and leggings successfully online. I've returned quite a few but it hasn't been a hassle.

If you can't get out, know your size and carefully read about and look at your product (e.g. zappos) you can get a fairly good idea of the item.

I have had to be more realistic about my size, requiring a tape measure and more careful about the product material. But even this fraught exercise has been pretty successful with me. I now know that I am no longer a size 14, but now a 16. OK. It is not the end of the world.

Now about my hair and not having it styled...

I'm an old hand at online shopping, so I know the brands, and their sizes that work for me. You'll figure it out in no time!

As to my hair: I'm a curly girl... my hair needs constant shaping. I'm looking more than a tad weird.

Every subject. I insisted on a short cut, but that was 2 months ago.

On line shopping has been great for me. Know your favorite brands that have standard sizes and click on the link. Choose the styles that work for you. I love nighshirts because I am short. Know the brands for slacks and tops. You have a much better selection online. Instead of running to different stores. Appliances.

Now Medicare Advantage plans give $70 a quarter for OTC products. Use their APP to order, few days later a box on your porch.

My TV was damaged due to a storm, but still have my old one. Decided to wait until they can deliver and install once again. Much better than having a family member struggle to bring it up the stairs, find out the cabinet does not work, going out buying that.

I am changing a lot of habits. Grocery shopping every 2 weeks with a written list, instead of popping in a couple of times a week. Ending with stuff I really do not need, thanks to those SALE signs.

Am enjoying that part, not the other.

You are right. List making is a great thing and I don't impulse buy. We have a weekly circular delivered to us so we can take advantage of the sales if possible.

I am waiting for masks, very patiently. I have 3 sources I am waiting on now. Neither my pharmacy nor my dr.'s office can supply me with them. This is a problem.

My Son brought me out masks and disposable gloves. His College girl friend lives on my street.

She has been calling and checking regularly to bring groceries. But I go about 7, wasn’t busy. Almost completely stocked. Wore my mask. Many from the Churches are making masks. One member, an eye Specialist is providing material and elastic to make more.

A friend is also making them, hanging them on people’s door knobs.
Just stay safe everyone.

Pack it up, put the label on the box and drop it off at your local FedEx place. Easy peasy, no waiting in line. Marshall’s, Designer Shoe Warehouse and Wayfair are among places that do this. Up til recently I was buying stuff for a trip to Florida for my son’s wedding, now postponed. Now they’re probably getting married at a courthouse down there and having an after-the-fact reception up here, so no trip

Wedding was supposed to be this Sat.
Someone here posted a link to a news item about a wedding a month ago - before all the precautions were in place - in Ohio where MOST of the 125 guests got sick, elderly grandma might not make it. Chilling.
They’ll do a courthouse wedding and Skype the family, then when (if ever) large gatherings get the all-clear they will have a reception in the bride’s hometown in Ohio (we’re in PA). I’m glad they decided to do the right thing.

Of buying from other companies through Walmart! You.have to buy an envelope, then they return. The company charges you more for shipping than the item costs. Be sure you check if Walmart is shipping!

It came within a week - was so excited, but it seems that since this all started I've gone from a size small to a medium.

I had been growing my silver hair out for some months before, so that's all fine except that I've discover that I have brown streaks among the silver - very interesting. My hair is curly so styling isn't so bad (I can put it up) but I do wish I could get some of the dyed ends cut off.

We ordered meal kits from one of those companies that delivers, and I discovered that each portion was 900 calories! BTW, those kits are more work than if I buy the ingredients myself - the packaging is very wasteful and they're expensive.

in addition to looking awful, it's uncomfortable and a real nuisance. I've got only one choice: the scissors. It won't be the first time I've cut my hair, but I haven't attempted it in a long time. I figure if it really comes out bad, at least it will eventually grow out.

grabbed the scissors. With the help of Mr. Vinca cleaning up the back, it came out better than some of the salon cuts I've had. What a relief. It's a whole lot more comfortable and easier to deal with now that I'm in home improvement mode.

However, some things can't be done online, for me.

Levi 501s: must do in person because there are too many bloody variants on Amazon.

Amazon Prime shopping is great, free returns if you don't like something.

Down side, however, is huge and that's that Bezos pays no taxes while treating workers like shit.

This has to change.

Online saves me time and probably saves the planet from millions of miles of shopping related driving.
