A shout out to some DUers, while I'm thinking about it

I'd like to shout out to Kentuck, Atticus, and Shockey80. I find that whenever a random yet insightful thought passes through the space allocated to my brain, I find one of these three will have posted something on it, or will shortly after I think about it, and it will be precisely what I was thinking.

While I'm shouting out, I would be remiss if I overlooked Floyd R Turbo. There may be a DUer with more bizarre and goofy and entertaining posts, but no one comes to mind at the moment.

4. There are many whose posts I really enjoy

Rather than mistakenly forget and leave anybody out, I will list the types of posts I enjoy:

- funny animal pics, gifs, and video clips
- interesting but not too long essays
- jokes: stories, one-liners, puns - I love them all
- short clips of what some newsmaker said
- satire, includes print, spoken, and musical

7. DU is currently my lifeline for news

because so many post news here faster than I can find it.

Add to the list: Dennis Donovan, Miles Archer, BigmanPigman Brooklynite, ffr, and others

And for fun and music: MrLebowski, The Pollack MSgt and Glamrock to mention just a few.

Then there's Catbyte and Rhiannon12866 who keep me sane by distracting me with animal vids and late night shows!
