Real Time with Bill Maher continues its 18th season Friday, April 17 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), with a replay at 12:00 a.m., exclusively on HBO.

Virtual interview guests include author and former U.S. Navy SEAL Officer Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX); CNN host and Washington Post columnist, Fareed Zakaria; and New York Magazine writer-at-large, Andrew Sullivan.

It just sucks and I cannot watch it.

3. Maher can be funny, humor is needed, - I just wish Maher could be more effectively intelligent

5. This isn't unique to Bill Maher.

All of the late night hosts - and their guests - are forced to appear from their homes because of the coronavirus quarantine. It can't be easy and I doubt they enjoy it much, either. And I'm sure that they'll be back in their studios - with guests and audiences - once it's safe to do so. Meanwhile, it's either this or repeats.

The only thing is, this time around there's going to be no one but Bill himself to argue them down. But up to this point, I've been quite pleased with the guests. And it's sure better than repeats!
