I've been involved with police, fire - and sheriff's all across the country for years. Elected Sheriff's are the worse*.

Met some truly great ones (the majority, actually), but some of them...when they're bad they are really bad.

(* And the same goes for Supreme Court judges.)

In Lee county during the EXACT time frame that a secondary car market is on the verge of collapse.

There are a few jurisdictions in this country where corruptions is evident, nay, right the fuck out in the open, and Lee County, Florida is one of them.

Were else to burn a few thousand cars there is no resale market for?
