They are suppose to open at end of month, but they cannot wait that long because then it will have be prolonged. So open BEFORE the peak, to get it open and start a second wave. So so so stupid.

Limit 50 persons per group. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear there will be a shitload of booze and celebrations on the beaches tonight.

Freedom is at stake. Caution to the wind, and folks betting on safety in numbers- more folks go, the less chance of cops getting called... Maybe a tad bit of irony there?

I liked it when the beaches were empty.

To our credit, state park and state beach parking lots remain closed, discouraging out of county visits.

In two weeks I get a month off and I'm not going outside for a month when they shut down again.

12. Let me know if this is correct, Florida.

March 2nd - first 2 Covid-19 cases announced
March 22nd- Florida closes the beaches and orders social distancing with 1007 cases.
Now with protective measures the number of infected are have risen to 24,705 and 725 dead, so today you opened the beaches and likely everything else next week.

What gives you the sense of security that this is ending?
Your average daily increase of infections with protections is 913. What will be the math on increased infections without Protections?

13. So limited reopening today. Let me see if I follow the (crazy) train of thought

4/17 limited number of beaches reopen
4/27 deaths from Covid-19 start to spike dramatically

By 5/1, ALL the beaches in Florida reopen. Because clearly everybody was way too close together when only a limited number of beaches opened

Too stupid to live - that's what Florida's politicians are. Too bad they wont be the ones not living anymore; it'll be the seniors who elected them
