Has anyone on Twitter notices the recent rise in fake news the left is amplifying?

It is unnerving for me. Dems and others opposed to Trump have been very fact-based in their opposition. But last day or so public people I follow are starting to post garbage rumors like Trump is suddenly moving USN Comfort from NYC to Louisiana.

I sure hope we aren’t going to see more of 2016 with Russian trolls trying to spew misinformation.

Which, of course, is the point.

There is a persistent and incorrect belief that harmful trolls simply push “right wing talking points”.

Some people are more than happy to amplify misinformation, so long as it confirms their pre-existing biases, and that is independent of political orientation.
