Frankly, I don't understand why Trump would WANT the people who are going to vote for him out there possibly killing each other off, but he never has been all that sharp. You'd think that a guy who lost by 3 million votes, and has spent 4 years daring all the centrists who voted for him to run for the exits, and has the lowest approval rating of any incumbent in history, and has literally NOTHING to run on, would want his reliable "base" voters sealed off in plastic bubbles until Election Day.
