Everything Trump Does Is A Distraction - The Media Just Doesn't Get It

Trump stands for nothing except stealing all he can get away with. It's always been that way.
Mob like theft has been his only MO for years. That and sex by any means. His Vietnam....
His words mean absolutely nothing.
Nothing.
He lies constantly about EVERYTHING.
Americans are dying needlessly because of his incompetence, and all he does is try to shift the blame. Daily.

I could go on but y'all get my drift.

Donald Trump is the person living in the White House (I never use the P word) and the media needs to report what he is REALLY up to. I understand how it works.

My problem is the frame. The media goes about "reporting" like what Trump says means something. It truly doesn't. His words are meaningless. Always. They need to start every statement about Trump with something like this: Donald Trump's daily distraction is ( ) or some variation of that. Donald Trump has attacked X, Y, and Z today but people are dying because of what he did and didn't do. Another frame is doing the WaPo's lie count on an hourly basis. "The person who has told 17,842 lies to date stated something...." That would help.

It's the frame. The media needs to stop giving him ANY CREDIT FOR ANYTHING. It is all meaningless posturing for his brain dead lemming cult followers. That is the only true frame. I wish they would just tell the truth about what is going on, and the constant non stop deadly gaslighting. There is still not enough PPG, test strips, supply organization, or any plan that makes sense. It is all one big distraction, and they play his game instead of framing the news properly.

It's a wish, but it won't happen. Trump will keep on gaslighting, and the media will keep on pretending his words mean something.

This country is so f-ed.

People are dying by the thousands and we have an ignorant lying narcissist gaslighting the world on a daily basis.

The media does not care about truth, justice, educating the public, etc. They care about ratings, page-views, clicks, etc.

it's what they choose to do with it. They choose what they want to say, and how they want to say it. They can take a story and blow it up, or shut it down. The one thing about reading, is that you know who wrote the story, who published it, and what facts are evident. When the black and white version makes it to the tv screen, it's been verbal-shopped...rather than photo-shopped. As long as they can afford to do what they do, and reap the rewards of power and influence, why stop? We live in a world where coin is king, and people are disposable.
