Heartbreaking story in the Times today about a Brooklyn bar owner, seemed like a basically decent guy, but he watched Fox and believed their bullshit about the virus. How the Murdoch family isn't being arrested for accessory to murder is beyond me.

1. Very sad. I'm very grateful for my dad's geriatric care manager.

He is addicted to Fox, as are his acquaintances, and believes it all, but when this outbreak began, Dad’s GCM said she would explain it to him. He doesn’t believe the kids but he does believe his GCM. Since that time we’ve had many conversations about this (he’s in a continuing care community so only the GCM is allowed to visit) and he doesn’t like the restrictions but doesn’t question them.

2. My dumbass dad

asked me the same thing, if I knew anyone who had it. Also hit me with the, "they think it was made in a lab." horseshit. He called me on the phone and I shouldn't have answered. I had been ignoring his calls for a couple months. Hopefully it'll be another several months before I have to talk to him again. Fox and trump have rotted his once sharp mind.
