(12,355 posts)he has no fucking clue what a trucker is all about, it certainly isn't about any accolades, it's about keeping the country's economy going.
What a fool.

(50,552 posts)Our America First President decided to celebrate American trucking by having two Swedish trucks brought to the White House. (Those are both Volvos. The factory is in Virginia, but headquarters of the company is in Sweden.)

(12,355 posts)The asshat should of had a couple of Peterbilt's, Freightliner's, Western Star's or International's brought in.
All of their corporate HQ's are located in the US and only Western Star is made in Canada while the rest are made in the US.
Just another day of the Mango Menace showing in total ignorance.

(50,552 posts)Both those rigs are made by Daimler-Benz. Daimler wanted to enter the US market, but all the trucks they make overseas are cabovers which American drivers hate...so, they bought Freightliner and Western Star.
One Kenworth (headquarters in Bellevue, Wash., manufacturing plant in Ohio) and one Peterbilt (shares HQ with Kenworth, manufacturing plant in Texas) would have looked great in front of the White House.
Given that, the only brand of truck that truly belongs in front of this White House is the all-American Autocar brand...the biggest manufacturer of specialized garbage truck chassis in America.

(12,355 posts)thanks for that info.
I've always preferred Peterbilt long nose, my Pete has never let me down since I've owned her, she's made me a lot of money and taken me places in these United States that are breathtakingly beautiful.
I like that thinking of yours, while the garbage truck is there, it can take out the trash.
