USA 2020: Darwin's natural selection and voluntary political cleansing

So these freaks think the virus is a hoax, overblown, and they want to gather. They want to have big rallies to bring back the economy. They want their football games back.

I say let them. Have some big rallies guys! Real big, beautiful, fantastic, unbelievable rallies.

And you can have your football games in big stadiums too! Go for it!

You know why?

you know what's going to happen at these rallies? they are going to spread the virus among themselves. is it our job to stop them? seriously, they are out there with their guns, exercising their constitutional rights. I certainly am not going to go out there and stop them. And I don't want to take away their right to assembly. I say let them. Let's all sit back and watch as Darwin and Mother Nature take over.

what we are witnessing is classic "darwin's natural selection." and it is also what I call "voluntary political cleansing." (similar to ethnic cleansing but effect is on political persuasion rather than ethnic category)

These people are so stupid, they believe everything the president says. they think the whole thing is a hoax made up by the fake news media just to tank the economy so Trump looks bad.

Here is how natural selection works. Here is how the human race gets smarter over time.

The smart people stay home.
The stupid people go to rallies. They go to football games. And they reopen their states too early.

Mother nature takes care of the rest.

Call it natural selection.
Call it voluntary political cleansing.

Darwin would have to write a whole new chapter in his book about this.

3. The problem is that these knuckleheads would take the virus back

to their communities and spread it to the non-stupid people. But if they could go to their MAGA rallies and then be quarantined in the stadium for a couple of weeks I'd be all for it.

and in the end this will affect their group at a higher proportion because of their stupidity.

yes there will be innocent people affected by their stupidity.

but if the smart people stay home, they/we will be safer and healthier at a higher proportion.

there's not much we can do really anyway. do you want to jump out there and have a "smart people rally" to protest against their rally?

darwin doesn't work by a plan. it happens naturally. it doesn't imply that every smart person lives and every dump person dies. it works by percentages, and over time. and there is nothing we can do about it.

my commentary was just to notice, it is happening. and I'm certainly not going to go out there in the streets and argue with these idiots. and i'm not going to go running to the first football game or concert, which will almost definitely be in a red state.

17. This already happened under the Boris Johnson led government...

that was slow in enacting mitigation efforts.

Unfortunately everyone in the UK is now paying the price, including healthcare workers and those in nursing homes. Also, people like Boris Johnson will likely now have immunity from the virus.
