Trump's Denialism Is a Great Danger
Donald J. Trump is either too stupid or too addled to understand the realities of this pandemic. What he doesn't know so far exceeds what he does know that he presents a genuine danger to everyone in this country.
Even the things he knows he forgets as soon as something else enters his mind. How he thinks about reality depends on what the last person he talked to said.
He appears to be unable to remember much of anything, from numbers to concepts. One day he is singing the praises of hydroxychloroquine, and two days later he has forgotten the word, apparently. That's very convenient for him, since he has trouble saying such a long word, but very dangerous to the rest of us.
He is not just incompetent; he is actively incapable of rational thinking. He surrounds himself with people who tell him he is correct, and dismisses anyone who tells him anything else.
We can rid ourselves of his presence in the White House on November 3. We must do that. If we fail, there is no hope of survival for our nation, which has only has 244 years of history as an established, separate country. What a shame if one doltish President destroyed that short-lived concept.
I suggest that we do the right thing on November 3, and bring as many like-minded people as we can find to the polls.
