They care first and foremost about themselves.
They care secondly about delivering pain and punishment to those who are different from themselves, especially any of those who are uppity enough to demand their rights and/or achieve any success.
They care thirdly about their families and maybe a small group of close friends who are people just like them.
They care a distant fourth about other people like themselves.
And everyone else can just get fucked, it doesn't matter to Republicans.
