During times like this there would be more domestic violence and frayed tempers. I feel for the children whose only break from an abusive parent was when they went to school or the abusive parent went to work. When I heard about demonstrators carrying guns in Philadelphia, I thought Trump couldn't have been more proud.

take their guns away from them. If the shops remain open they can continue to purchase enough guns to keep ahead of Obama's deep state operatives as they travel around the U.S. confiscating everyone's guns.

It's called Operation DumbasFuck. (because you have to be dumb as fuck to believe it)

10. Trumpists claim it is a Second Amendment issue

This is the text of the Second Amendment:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Well obviously now, if you can't buy guns any time your little old heart desires, from any gun store that you want to go to, then your right to keep and bear arms is being infringed.

We're looking at a VERY slippery slope here. It seems to me that if you can't close a gun store in the middle of a pandemic because that would infringe on your Second Amendment rights, then so would a lot of other things - proximity laws (that state you can't open a gun store within a certain distance from a school), daily limits on firearms purchases, domestic violence laws, zoning laws that aim to keep businesses of any sort out of residential areas, restrictions on business hours, and anything else that says to a gun store owner, "no, you really can't do whatever the hell you want."

The militia clause in the 2nd amendment, and the People's roll in them, were/are pretty powerful.

many of the big political tussels related to the pandemic are directly tied to the Bill of Rights.

I haven't bought anything in awhile but ammo is delivered directly to my home by FedEx and a local hardware store (open because it's considered essential) has an FFL and for a fee of $25.00, does the transfer for a gun.

likely need(ed) ammo.

Those factories and shops in "deemed non-essential" states like NY are now closed - thousands of employees now out of work, businesses in jeopardy.

Military and LE are critical, and still need ammunition and arms

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) executes the Secretary of Homeland Security’s authorities to secure critical infrastructure. Consistent with these authorities, CISA has developed, in collaboration with other federal agencies, State and local governments, and the private sector, an “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” advisory list.
...
Workers supporting the operation of firearm, or ammunition product manufacturers, retailers, importers, distributors, and shooting ranges.

Also, Democratic platform with regards to the right to arms:

We recognize that the individual right to bear arms is an important part of the American tradition, and we will preserve Americans' Second Amendment right to own and use firearms.

On edit: of course if trump wasn't such a wuss, he could use the DPA to "force" Remington (and other builders that had to close) to make M-16s or something...even PPE gear and/or whatnot.

They'll freak out about their precious 2nd amendment and their right to defend themselves from home invasions, slippery slope, etc., etc., logical fallacy ad nauseum. Their GOP reps would get to grandstand and flag-wave and constitution brandish.

They're already calling Jay Inslee "The Fuhrer" here over his shutdown measures.

So fine. Go buy another MSSA to ponce about in public with, dipshit.
