The world lost its leader at the worst possible time, The American president.

When Obama was president and other presidents before him, they were the leaders of the world. People around the world loved Obama. They respected him and they listened to him. I have no doubt things would be so much better right now if Obama was president. Obama would have rallied the entire world against the virus.

The world lacks that type of leader at this very dangerous moment in history. Trump is not a leader, the world does not respect him, they hate him.

Hopefully, we, the world can hold things together until the leader of the world returns, the American president. I have no doubt Joe Biden can lead. I have no doubt he will rally the world together to fight the virus.

before it became the total chaos that it is. This mess is on the gop and tRump. They were so thrilled with the Russian help and cash, they ignored the total ignorance of their flaming narcissistic "leader". The entire world (except Putin) will be thankful once the orange mistake is gone, and a SANE adult is in the WH. He will need plenty of democratic politicians to help, too. The gop has proven once again they are hopeless at leadership. They have to cheat to "win" so they do.

She was completely brutalized, especially because of James Comey's antics.

If she was in the White House the situation would have been handled so much better. She proved her competence throughout her career, regardless of what the media said, after the election results allowed them to pile on her and alter the history books.

What do you think of Sally Yates? Do you think she would be a good running mate for Biden?

For one thing, if Biden wins, I assume he'll be a delegator, and the VP will have more than the usual array of responsibility, and I think it would behoove him to pick someone who's got national elected office experience.

who is already showing leadership, comforting people in his fireside chats, listening to qualified experts, and using many of the people who advised Obama to make policy. Obama had put Biden in charge of many successful efforts before.

Whoever is left alive will have a tremendous endeavor ahead to build a better stronger country. This is even bigger than Obama rebuilding the economy after the Bush recession. This feels like FDR rebuilding after the Hoover great depression and Truman transitioning to a postwar economy.

The US president isn't even the leader of the US. They are the head of the executive branch of the federal government - and that's all.

is to surround himself/ herself with smart, talented people who are not afraid to tell the truth in order to find solutions to problems. In other words building a working team. A lot of people dismissed Obama as a community organizer, but someone with those skills is exactly what makes an extraordinary leader, and we sorely need another "community organizer" in our future.

I can. No matter how well Obama would have handled the situation, the teeth-gnashing and calls for impeachment would have been deafening. No way in HELL would he have been given 1% of the mulligans the tangeranus enjoys.
