Getting REAL tired of the DNC and the like sending me "polls" via email

Then they turn out to be asking for money.

not surprising....BUT I wish they knew that MOST of us don't have that $$ right now...no pay, no stimulus, etc...

I'm barely scraping by on groceries as it is.

ETA: It also gives me the feeling that my opinion doesn't matter unless I can cough up $100

Besides getting deluged with emails it appears they entered the donation from my CC to be ongoing after I specifically said it was a one time donation. The CC’s customer service is always swamped and haven’t been able to get thru.

I received one from my beloved Nancy Pelosi and I wrote in the "tell us why you're unsubscribing" that I'm tired of this pretend poll thing. Want money? Say so. Want my opinion? Say so. Come on, guys, think of a new approach.

with e-mails daily. The most seem to come from Jamie Harrison's committee in SC, the candidate opposing Lindsey Graham.

That's the only thing holding me back from a Biden donation at this time. Now that he's the presumptive nominee, I'll support him generously, but I don't want to then be hammered each day with additional e-mails, even if they end up in my "Junk" file. Joe will have to wait a little bit more.

Biden the last four months. But I can't give to 10 other Democratic causes.
Save the postal service
Flip the Senate
Donate to defeat McConnel
They all start the same they want your opinion on something then ask for more money.
I think I will unsubscribe from all but Biden.
I have two email addresses all total I get at least 25 a day.

No one likes it, but big oh-well?

Eyes on the prize. And if that doesn't work, eyes right. Your grocery shoppings in future are likely to make today's happy memories if they're able to continue the path they've chosen.

Remember, those controlling today's GOP are the people who don't believe in not just minimum wages but paying living wages at all to people they can maneuver into competing for poverty wages. They're against representative government, school lunches, affordable healthcare, equal rights, labor protections, and -- please take note -- more than basic education that'll meet the needs of local industry and that for only that part of the populace they want.

There will be an offer to stop getting these emails, not all in the same words, but same meaning. Often they say "unsubscribe." Click on that and follow directions.

Do this with every begging email you get, and in less than 2 weeks your inbox should be clear. Don't ever feel guilty -- this is all done by robots.

Just know that if you sign another petition or give another five bucks, it starts all over again. Just remember: Unsubscribe.

but then I pass on most online polls.

I never quite figured out whether I had to donate to make my vote count. If I was sure it counted whether I donated or not, then I would answer them.
