Rob Gronkowski is coming out of retirement. Thats the good news.
The bad news for New England is that hes going to be playing in Tampa Bay with Tom Brady.
According to ESPN, the Patriots have traded Gronk and a seventh-round pick to the Buccaneers for a fourth-round pick. The trade is pending a physical.
Gronkowskis agent, Drew Rosenhaus confirmed the deal to The Providence Journal. Pending the physical, Rob has agreed to play for Tampa this season, Rosenhaus said. He will honor his current contract at this time.

(31,261 posts)I believe Gronkowski retired because he got beaten up, the Patriots never put stellar recievers around him, other than Edelman and Hernandez (before his crimes). Defenses keyed on Gronkowski because they knew Brady would look for him in a pinch. Tampa Bay has two or three capable recievers, one of them is very, very good and big.
