Thanatos, the god of death speaks:

"I, Thanatos, the god of death DEMAND that you open everything to me. These paltry numbers barely suffice to appease my infinite hunger for the dead as I devour their sweet, delicious souls! Feed me now! MORE! MORE!

"oh...and wouldn't be just wonderful to get out, have dinner, see a movie and, oh, go bowling or to the pub or something nice like that? Please? I mean, don't you miss going to work and socializing? I understand, I am just doing my job, you know."

The number of new cases is nearly linear or decreasing (rather than exponential)

Absolute number of new cases since 4/14 - the day the reporting changed (using a rolling 3-day average):

4/14 - 30,720
4/15 - 30,342
4/16 - 29,567
4/17 - 32,165
4/18 - 29,057
4/19 - 25,040
4/20 - 28,927
4/21 - 26,015

(Note that prior to the 14th the number of new cases was lower daily for a couple of days, but increased starting th 14th when the criteria for what constitutes a case changed) and now they are back to trending down. So we appear to be on the back side of the first peak - but it will zip right back up if more states follow Georgia's idiocy.)
