I am confused on this

Conservative Leadership, think tank, wealthy bastards, Fox news, all seem to be holding together on this with a bit more fluctuation than usual but they appear to agree to an overall agenda. Here is where I am confused. They appear to be aiming destruction for the sheep that follow them more than anyone else. It is like they don't care who else they hit, but they are throwing the hand grenades at their most loyal followers. The are spreading nonsense and bad advice that has already killed people and will continue to get people killed. Their most loyal idiot followers are the majority of the folk stupid enough to follow such advice.

They are endangering all of us, but more than anyone else, they are endangering the fools that willingly drink their cool aid.

Usually I can figure out the profit motive for their evil. Unless they are scared that someone else might take over their zombie army and they have decided to eliminate it instead of letting it change hands, I really can't make sense of what they are doing.

2. Look at it this way

You own a business of just about any type. For the most part you can isolate yourself from the workers and customers. So you are fine taking the risk to lose 2% of customers and/or workers as long as you get revenue coming in.

If you look at customers/employees as fungible then you would much rather risk losing some as opposed to potentially losing the summer home.

The goal is to get them back working, consuming, not to keep them safe.

but I think there is more. They are pushing things that will kill. Bad drugs, quack nostrums, and dangerous chemicals are being sold to their target audience. They aren't just going shortsighted and insisting their businesses should stay open, they are opening businesses that have the highest chances of spreading disease.

Why do you think they hate liberals, it is because liberals call them out, make them see themselves for who they actually are. Wouldn't you hate to be called out for what is at your core?

Along with discussions about making money, a very popular idea has always been eugenics. If you owned everything in the federal government except 1/2 of 1/3 of it and expected foreign assistance in keeping all the Executive branch parts under your control, and were a sociopath, why wouldn't you sacrifice a few pawns to create trouble for your enemy?
