Cuomo just read part of this quote - I dedicate it to the criminally negligent Con

and his ReTHUG goons - paid and unpaid.
“In the end, more than freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all - security, comfort, and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again.”
~ Edward Gibbon*

*There is debate on the origin of the quotation
The quoted passage was written by Thatcher. In characterizing the Athenians in the article she mistakenly cited Sir Edward Gibbon, but she was actually paraphrasing from "Athens' Failure," a chapter of classicist Edith Hamilton's book The Echo of Greece (New York: W. W. Norton & Company, 1967, p.47).

but that would have been clearly calling out the Con and his fellow grifters - and he is way more subtle than me.

When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again.”

it's so powerful and not his problem that drumpf already said he takes no responsibility at all, but like you said, he's trying not to thoroughly antagonize Tangerine Terror because he will hurt NY on purpose. He's such a freaking baby, no problem killing people for his own profit, both personally and politically, but don't say one word of criticism because he'd kill anyone for that while telling the country "he asked for it" and repugs would say "yes".
