((Along with the Italians re export))
On 29 Feb, Mexico reported two CV cases. ((I also noted "Singapore hit 102, Germany 79, France 73 then 100".))
On that same date, Laurie Garnett said that 2009 H1N1 had originated in the US but hadn't been noticed until spring breakers brought it back from Mexico.
On 1 Mar, reports indicated the first five Mexican cases originated in travelers from Italy. By 21 Mar, Mexico reported 203 cases.
By 1 Apr, I wrote "WMAL noted 70 kids from Austin springbreaked in Mexico, may have spread it there; 28 so far got CV". The known scheduled dates for spring break from the Austin area ranged between 7-21 Mar.
In addition, the US has been exporting detainees back to Mexico and the rest of Central America.
Speed forward to the 2020 US main harvest.
COULD US workers do it? In the 1960s when Kennedy's fitness council got started, or even around 2000 when the US military still relied on boot camp to get troops fit enough to graduate (and discard the 10% whose body parts got broken), maybe.
But after two generations of selection of the non-impoverished for "brains over brawn"...
So US agriculture is reliant on H2A workers for much of the harvest.
Will the suppliers of such labor dose the workers up enough to fool fever checks? ((IS THE POPE CATHOLIC?))
So eventually the US involved with such operations will visit their kids' schools, their churches, the 6-county Walmart...
"Hoard the toilet paper NOW!" ((I WISH I was totally kidding.))
