Are bee strings and snake bites the next cures?

Lysol! Disinfectant! Bright lights! Wishful thinking! I'm waiting for the bee string recommendation. I have MS. Bee stings are one of the many less than effective treatments that have been actually proposed for MS. I suppose that if you get enough of them, they would at least be a distraction. And if bee stings don't work, there is always snake handling.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but maggots are approved for some conditions. From Wikipedia

Maggot therapy improves healing in chronic ulcers.[1] In diabetic foot ulcers there is tentative evidence of benefit.[2] A Cochrane review of methods for the debridement of venous leg ulcers found maggot therapy to be broadly as effective as most other methods, but also noted that the quality of data was poor.[3]

In 2004, the FDA cleared maggots from common green bottle fly for use as a medical device in the United States for the purpose of treatment of:[4]

Yeah I see the part about the data being poor, but I always find it cool that maggots might work this way.

Trump’s stupidity about injecting disinfectants is still absolutely stupid, as are the people who take his advice.

where he says he saw maggots used as therapy for wounds. He was very impressed with the results. When he read they were approved for use by the FDA, he said "It's about time." I should add that he has no medical training beyond basic first aid.

I'm not saying that, but I've heard that many people are saying it.
It only works if held in place by a MAGA hat, though. Something special about the material.
