Even when they've had the power to overturn it, it hasn't happened. I believe it's just a talking point to appeal to the Evangelicals, and it works. The Evangelicals haven't put together the pieces to tell them that they're being used and duped. It's the same with the 2nd Amendment. The right has been told *forever* that we're going to take their precious guns away. They believe what they're fed.

Sheesh, I went to Home Depot yesterday looking for a chimney cap (didn't find one), and there was a guy in that aisle wearing a full on respirator and had a gun in a holster on his hip. Naturally he was too effing stupid to figure out which sprinkler part he needed and took up a LOT of an employee's time trying to find it.

Sorry, went off on a tangent.....

What I couldn't imagine was how bad it could possibly be.

Who would have predicted four years ago that, at this point, the U.S. would barely have an ally in the world, the economy would collapse, unemployment would be off the charts, we'd be in the midst of major worldwide pandemic/sheltering in place in our homes, AND that this pretender president would be suggesting we inject ourselves with bleach and Lysol.

Anyone writing a novel predicting this would be laughed out of the publisher's office.

My greatest fear is that the endtimers get a hand all the way up his ass and control him more than they already do.
We all know mark of the beast will be the vaccine against covid-19, so there's no way he can allow mass inoculations.
I think he already tried to start WWIII when he put a hit on the Iranian but someone pulled us back from the brink, and thank geebus for that.
He is a comedian, he is doing an act, he is very convincing, we all hang on every word.
Meanwhile, like a fast growing cancer, his rot spreads deep into the machine of government, wearing the gears to a nub and grinding the smooth rolling bearings to dust, which may or may not be a recoverable situation if he ever does lumber up the steps of trump 1 and fly away to Russia for good.

page 6...he was the 80's equivalent to the Kardashians...except Kim is smarter than he is. I was terrified. He is rotten to core and one of the most stupid men who has ever lived...a number of electricians, plasterers, builders etc were stiffed by him in my town. Several of my Dad's friends were bankrupted by Trump while he walked away intact dumping his debts on taxpayers. He lived off his name...he failed at everything he ever tried(destroyed Atlantic city and the USFL football league too.) He worked with the mob .

My brother who likes most people...very friendly kind of guy despises Trump worked with his company in the early 2000's on some deal. Trump's incompetence and arrogance made him the worst person to be president. Although, I knew enough to be fearful, he has surpassed my expectations in terms of arrogance, cruelty and stupidity. I especially underestimated the stupid.

I knew it would be a clusterfuck, but this takes the cake. What will he do next? Tell people to light themselves on fire to kill the virus? There is no telling with him. I am still beyond pissed off about him inciting violence against Democratic governors, Kushner saying PPE that taxpayers paid for already does not belong to the states but belongs to them instead, Betsy DeVos and her family organizing these hideous protests where they are blocking ambulances, and all of the other stuff going on. The outrage from all of that is still fresh on my mind, because I haven't moved on from it. Why is there no action for those things alone, before he ever even said this, to either 25th Amendment him or file criminal charges for inciting violence? It's like a three ring circus led by a madman who is hellbent on destroying the country. When are the adults going to take over and put him in his playpen? I guess it will have to be Biden, because no one in his admin will stand up to him. They are enabling him. We have GOT to get Biden elected in November. I don't know how much more this country can stand of Trump. He is the worst ever, and I mean worst everything ever, in America.

Either voted out or taken away by the Grim Reaper, can we revise the way America does politics please?

Suggestions:

1. Upper age limit on politicians going for the presidency, 55 sounds about right to me.

2. Enforced retirement age for people in politics. 65 sounds about right to me.

3. Enforced diversion of business interests before being sworn in.

4. Release of tax returns and examination of possible outside interests with potential hooks into any new president.

5. Strengthening the Constitution so all this can't happen again.

6. Banning contributions from interest groups during political campaigns. (They always come back for favors.)

7. Appointments to government offices to be made on merit and skills, not on who you know.

8. Get rid of 'executive orders'. Makes a madman a dictator. And makes a joke of checks and balances.

9. Get rid of the electoral college.

I guess we have to thank Trump for showing how the American political system is open to abuse, and what needs to be fixed.

And it's not just his actions with regard to the current (completely avoidable IMO) pandemic. He's given companies the green light to poison our water, he's caging kids, separating families--the list goes on and on. And he's STILL fucking up with each new day. Shutting down funding to WHO during a pandemic? Really?!

Also, the daily emotional abuse he doles out onto our population matters. Americans are stressed like never before because of him. It's sickening!
