When I was a kid I had a bad cold and got some kind of squirter and fired some Listerine

up my nose! It did not work. Yes it was painful.

My nose was the usual miserable stuffed up and it was supposed to kill germs right? It made my throat feel better gargling, so maybe it would help the sinuses? Maybe it even did kill about a million virus but not enough. Definitely wasn't worth it. In fact I only did one nostril. If it would have helped, I was a tough kid and probably would have got up the nerve to blast the other side.
