She's not just some average joe who's afraid of losing their job. When you accept that kind of position you need to be willing to get fired before you let anything that you know is inaccurate or dangerous come out of the WH.

Do we think she is going to struggle if she gets fired? She'd have another job the second she wanted it.

But I think both Dr. Birx and Dr. Fauci think Trump is stark raving mad and that they see their role as trying to protect the American people. If they walked out, who would Trump replace them with? Dr. Oz? Dr. (not a medical doctor) Phil?

It is a terrible place to be. And we don't know what goes on behind the scene.

It just seems like such a shit move, to be an enabler like that. When the predator comes in the forest, at least the prey being eaten has the decency to scream out a warning to the rest of the herd.

Somebody.

Please.

Stand up in front of the microphone, in a live broadcast, and call him the worlds’ stupidest shit to his face. Then walk calmly out of the room.

I heard what he said. I can’t believe I heard the president of the U.S. actually say that shit, and nobody in the room did anything.

Not yet, not publicly.

Obviously the “what then” is you’re not a representative of the administration anymore. Does that matter? Does it matter to them that the majority of us (who didn’t vote for him) view them with no respect, now that they’ve enabled/supported/covered for this guy? Things being what they are, wouldn’t the one who finally stood up and said “Emperor got no clothes, dude” find respect, and more employment possibilities with the majority, in the end?

Much like the impeachment, the conclusion is foregone. But the event needs to happen. Not just for my satisfaction, but to put it on record, beyond all doubt.

I’ve been hearing the “someone on the inside, protecting us from going off the rails” now for long enough. My response is, it’s time to shit or get off the pot. Because much like this pandemic, half measures aren’t going to get the desired result.

Barring the actual proof that anybody on the “inside” is on our side, I’m wondering if that isn’t just wishful thinking on our part here at the endgame.

If only more people had done this from the very beginning.

Dr Rick Bright led the US government agency trying to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus.

He says he was ousted for questioning the potential of hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria drug touted by Mr Trump.

President Trump said he had "never heard" of Dr Bright.

The president has previously mentioned the use of hydroxychloroquine and the related drug chloroquine as a possible "game changer" for Covid-19. However, many experts have cautioned that hydroxychloroquine could be ineffective, or even dangerous.

"In our filing we will make clear that Dr Bright was sidelined for one reason only - because he resisted efforts to provide unfettered access to potentially dangerous drugs, including chloroquine, a drug promoted by the administration as a panacea, but which is untested and possibly deadly when used improperly," a statement from the doctor's lawyers said.

If the Lysol Company guy felt the need to make a public statement, why did Dr. Birx just sit there? The press have to decipher what her facial expressions mean. During a pandemic. When Trump stands before a worried nation and lies....lies....lies.

It’s unethical and it’s sickening.

Trump said to Birx (on the ultraviolet/light idea), "I think you said that hasn't been checked but we're gonna test it."

Then on the injecting of disinfectant, Trump said to Birx, "I think you said we're gonna test that too."

So he may have said it to her off-camera and she might have humored him by saying someone's going to test those two braindead ideas. Then he goes out and tells the world.
