Get my Payment success!

If you have been getting the “payment status not available” message from the IRS, try again. They did some system maintenance last night and I finally was able to enter my banking info. Have your latest tax return available, they confirm your AGI and how much you over or underpaid.

3. Thanks for the heads-up. It just opened-up for me as well. I'm actually impressed

they were able to get it solved. We've owed in recent years, and used EFT to pay which IRS was not able to use in the reverse direction. We moved as well, so a check would have gone to the old address. I was able to enter verification info from the 2018 return, and input bank routing and account numbers for the payment. Let's me procrastinate a bit more on filing a 2019 return, which IRS had been claiming was the only fix for updating our address.

7. That IRS site is now worse than before!

Before it got me through but came back with "your eligibility is not yet determined".

Now....it bombs out with
Access Denied

I haven't used it - I don't have the information handy that they need so there is no point. If I get a stimulus check, it will go to the local Food Bank and to Joe Biden, 50/50 split.

I heard it could be as late as August before some paper checks will be delivered.

I no longer get the "eligibility cannot be determined"
message, but apparently my 2019 return has not been processed yet, and I cannot find my figures for 2018, so back to square one. Guess I'll have to wait for a paper check?

21. My daughter just received her tax refund, yet IRS says her eligibility is not determined!

WHAT? How did IRS deposit her refund without processing her tax return, so they must know her Adjusted Gross Income,
and they must know her bank account info to direct deposit her tax refund.

I think IRS computers are old, they are probably using COBOL for the software (it is 50 year old software),
so their databases do not inter-communicate real good. The programmers who wrote IRS COBOL program are long retired,
and the new recruits are having a hard time extracting data.
