... you let everyone return to congregating while there's NO testing and NO vaccine for a virus that incubates contagiously with no symptoms for up to 10 days, and LOTS more people die; and even if the illnesses numbers get down to being manageable within existing healthcare capacity (which is unlikely), there will be a staggering amount of people not working, an unprecedented number of people dying, and an overwhelming number of people who simply WILL NOT patronize businesses in person because it will be a drawn-out and indefinitely longer time until the pandemic is TRULY over. There are no good choices anymore, nor are there any cheap solutions -- the Trump pandemic has done away with all that -- but opening too soon will only prolong and deepen the economic disaster.
