2. A great and affordable public option

Suppose (we can dream) we get everything including House and Senate. During the months before inauguration we write legislation to pass what we want. We immediately pass everything with no R votes. That’s exactly what they’d do to us.

Start working on the legislation - AND THE EXECUTIVE ORDERS! - on November 15th (need time to process the mail-in ballots). Enact them on February 1st.

If it can be done as a package deal, good. If they have to be done one by one, he should have people drafting those now so all are ready for him to sign on day 1.

Kavanaugh's perjury would be actually investigated which would result in him being impeached and removed.

Laws drafted to make it clear that the president can take no form of payment or profit personally from any government expenditure of any kind. Law moving all Internal Investigators to congress and out of Executive branch, laws making it clear that for any expenditures of taxpayer money, Congress has to have 7 days to review the document before it can be voted on, make it clear that president can not move appropriated money around, even for emergencies, must have congressional approval by both houses first.

Wait - Fix Voting has to be right up there too. Make a law against gerrymandering, make a law against voter signature matching, make all votes recordable and reviewable, make a law precincts have to be established for every x person in every district so people in cities aren't standing in lines for 7 hours, establish a month for early voting, allow vote by mail nationally and make voting day a holiday. Make it illegal to bring guns to election sites and enforce this. Send hacking experts to every state and if the voting system isn't secure, it has to be changed and tested and pass before the election, otherwise people vote on paper. And no, I'm no expert, just was a poll watcher once. I'm sure there are other things that could be done to secure our elections and stop Russia and others from buying the presidency.
