And I plan to use it to pay my state tax.

I had seen those with less than $10,000 in income got mailed out Friday, and they'll get mailed out every Friday based on $10,000 increments. So, if your income is between $10,000 and $20,000, your check will be mailed out on Friday, May 1, and so on.

Preparation for profit Companies Soft Ware does not mesh with the IRS out dated Software. When the IRS floated Ads for COBAL Code writers early last month, that was a stark clue as to how the GOP f--ed up things by not funding the IRS in a timely manner.

And for those whom are required to do a mandatory With Drawl from your 401's and IRA's has been canceled for this Calendar year .

My 'inherited' 401ks need to be rolled over eventually. I think. Then I got so much conflicting info regarding 2 companies' plan rules from the investment co. which shall not be named. Plus what the gubmint says. I'm gonna roll these into an IRA and start distribs. this year even if not mandatory.

We've always self directed. But I am letting a friend's independent house get this done for me. Twice trying to roll over where the accounts were screwed up my online access and I had to change my password each time. Don't ask me about April to October last year dealing with them. 😬

Did two rolls into IRA's but,had help via a Broker Guy we knew. Try you Bank or Credit Union, they will help you navigate your way through it,and they should have all the necessary forms.

Good Luck and don't misplace any of your paper work.

So far it has not shown up in my account, nor have I received a check in the mail. I tried to find out the status of it yesterday, via irs.gov, "get my payment", but the site was not working.

I don't remember other administrations having such a problem getting the money out to the public.

I'm telling myself not to worry until the end of the month. We are all right, $ will go to food pantry, but I'm noticing disproportionate sense of worry because of generally increased anxiety since we're in the hands of a moronic tyrant and we're all gonna die. Call me crazy!

Everyone who gets social security or tax free veterans pensions or railroad retirement but doesn’t file a tax return will likely be paid by the end of the first week in May. Others who are eligible but haven’t gotten direct deposit tax refunds in their most recent tax return will be getting physical checks, perhaps starting today. Sent to the address on their most recent tax return. But only 5 million physical checks can be printed and mailed per week. With maybe 80 million in this group it will take 4 months for all the checks to be sent. The tool at IRS.gov called get my payment seems functional now. You can enter bank info to get a direct deposit pronto. But if that doesn’t work for you, be sure to enter requested info from your most recent tax return exactly as it is shown on your tax return. If the tax return says Trump Twr as your address don’t enter Trump Tower.

But if that doesn’t work checks go out like this. Week one, that’s now, adjusted gross income 10,000 or less. Week two 20,000 or less. Week 3 30,000 or less. Up to agi of 198,000 the maximum for a married couple to be eligible.

And if it just doesn’t happen you can still get it with your 2020 tax return if all else has failed.
