Do you know anyone with coronavirus?

Tried to kick this one poll but it didn't kick. Maybe because it's over a month old? https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=13057820

and works in the medical profession. She is a neighbor, across the pathway, who has been there just over a year. I see her rarely, but wife has spoken to her more. She let the neighbors know her situation about two weeks ago, so I hope she is recuperating.

Both were under 40 and in good health prior. Officially they were never tested. They both died in early March.

The spouse of one was sick as well but survived. She is still getting RT and will likely need medical care for this a long time out.

Here is page 30 of General Discussion as sorted by Last Reply (the default):

The last reply on the last post on page 30 (as of the moment I looked at it) is April 21, 2020 2:05 am. So anything with a last reply older than that has been archived (as of the moment I looked at it).

Now as for where I got this information ... it was soooo long ago ... I'd really have to dig hard for the source.

I suspect another teacher (out of a couple hundred) has it. Don't know her personally. Her daughter had been diagnosed with it a couple of days before, and the teacher (online) was busy coughing and had a headache. Teacher hadn't been tested.

If any of my 165 students on my roster has it, they're not talking.

That said, given how many people I'm acquainted with and the likely stats, I must know at least a couple. They don't need to be symptomatic or very sick (because that's also the overwhelming majority).

These GOP thieves and murderers care nothing for health care workers or anyone else. Just like the elites of Nazi Germany who claimed to disagree with Hitler while profiting immensely from the Nazi actions, the moneyed interests of the USA, continue to back Trump and profiteer from his criminal actions.

The board members of Disney, Fox, Comcast, and Viacom, as well as almost all other corporations board members have no interest in stopping Trump and the rest of the GOP thugs as they are making money and retaining power. These people are von Papens.

and told me they had something but weren't sure what. I asked about numerous symptoms and I think they may have it. I advised them about what I had read and we compared notes. They think they are over it but I told them to beware of a return in 30-48 hours. I think I'll check on them tomorrow.

and works in a nursing home in Petoskey, MI (UP) tested positive for Covid-19 early in the pandemic. She luckily had a mild case and fully recovered. She has problems with depression to begin with, and now she's struggling with guilt with her good fortune given what's happened to others.

She's a single (divorced) cat lady and feels very deeply for the people who have died and left behind spouses and children. She seems to be doing better this month, thankfully.
