Another "acceptable casualty" of the Republican policy that puts human life on the same level with

economic viability.

Oviedo couple, married 46 years, die of coronavirus one week apart

The Oviedo couple, who loved cooking together and holding large family gatherings, died this month exactly one week apart from COVID-19.

Their son was also hospitalized on April 1 with COVID-19 in serious condition. At one point, he was breathing through a ventilator.

Ralph is angry that federal and state officials didn’t act sooner against the spread of the coronavirus. If the state of Florida had ordered a statewide lock down or stay-at-home order weeks earlier, it’s likely that her aunt, uncle and cousin would not have contracted the virus, she said.

“Folks that are sitting at home and think that their life has been interrupted by economic shutdown have no clue at how quickly their life can change by this virus,” Ralph said. “This was preventable, if we had had stronger leadership at both the federal and state levels. … People who were sitting ducks for this, would have had a better chance.”

It's a post of utter disgust. We should never forget that it's the economy that they value more than human life.

The Fox Noise propaganda machine does call COVID-19 deaths acceptable losses and calls the lockdown a cure worse than the disease. Some Repugs have gone as far as saying old people should willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater society.

GOP callousness should not need an explanation.

Exaggeration, sarcasm and satire will never be the same. It's like Babylon. Because of the way Trump confuses us by switching streams, even when we pick up the correct nuances, we'll never really know for sure. Gaslight Nation.

Not that there’s anything wrong with your title. On first read the headline can be interpreted as if Republican deaths are acceptable.

Imagine being quoted like this —

Why are these deaths being politicized? Both sides do it.
“Another acceptable Republican casualty”, wrote Baitball Blogger, a Democratic Underground regular....

There’s no shortage of a partisan divide in this crisis... the tragic loss of .. was described as “ Another acceptable Republican casualty”...

It caused me to do a double take but I quickly realized your sarcasm.

America has traveled so far down the mean path that the obvious message of empathy and humanity in your thread gets run through altered filters.

tRump isn't capable of doing what's right. His mindset is vindication always. Get even is where he starts with any decision.
