Why are people allowed to wear masks while they 'open carry'. Seems like it's not that 'open' if they're wearing a mask like a bandit.

People should call the cops every time they see some maniac with a gun on the street. Let the cops figure out if they are bad guys or something else.

where he is, big city. I said something about being pretty late for a walk in the city. He said he was exercising his privilege, referring to being male and able to walk without concern. He said what he would have concern is someone thinking he was there to rob. I told him exercising that white privilege would ensure he not get in trouble by the law. It is a matter of acknowledging. I would like to be able to prove the point over and over and over, but it can;t be done because death is too big a concern.

Btw, do all supposed conservative protests just devolve into first amendment activists trying to impress/scare people by waggling their big, rock-hard guns around in their hands?

after all...

"Testicles may make men more vulnerable to coronavirus: study"

"The coronavirus could linger in the testicles, making men prone to longer, more severe cases of the illness, according to a new study."

"...the virus attaches itself to a protein that occurs in high levels in the testicles. This protein, known as angiotensin converting enzyme 2, or ACE2, is present in the lungs, the gastrointestinal tract and the heart in addition to large quantities in the testicles."

"These observations demonstrate that male subjects have delayed viral clearance,” the authors wrote, adding that the testicles may be serving as “reservoirs” for the virus."

"The study may offer an explanation for reports out of Italy, South Korea and New York City that men are dying at higher rates from the virus."

Quick way to tell this individual has never been in the military: none of us would have ever voluntarily worn a gas mask for any reason whatsoever.

I was confused.

Yeah, prices are low. My son picks up groceries for two households. It's a 90 minute round-trip, not counting the time waiting for the goodies to be loaded. My wife gave him a $20 to fill up for the last trip and he said that will cover several trips. I still have near-$3 per gallon stuck in my head.

He said someone was making a better mask for him that he was picking up the next day since they were required to wear one, now everybody is here in New York. And he mentioned the customer in the hazmat suit!

And gas is way down here in New York, $2.09 most places now. We thought $2.59 was pretty low before all this happened.

And I put off getting gas since I get cents-off with my grocery card. It usually doesn't make much of a difference, but I got more off than I ever have since I've also been getting groceries for my agoraphobic brother. But I was getting nervous because I usually get gas when it gets past half a tank, especially in the winter. I'm not going to be doing that again anytime soon...

I got gas a couple of weeks ago so I obviously don't need anymore yet, but it seems to go down everyday around here. Gas is pretty high here in New York, but if it goes down anymore, it'll be under $2-a-gallon. It's at $2.09 most places now and a lot less in most states. I belong to GasBuddy, so I keep track...

Saw a real armed tactical response team in action. They weren't posing for the camera though. (They were sniper hunting at the time.)
