Poor Joy, she had other questions but the Speaker was not having it. She had a handful of points to make and she was going to make them. They gave her a microphone and she made good use of it.

I noticed one thing about her delivery when explaining why a Bill is morally appropriate, she quotes the bible. Now I am not a subscriber to religion nor am I a fan of the bible, but she is and she is one of the few who can quote the doctrine appropriate to the morality of our purpose as stated in the Constitution which is a nondenominational set of rules and guidelines. It has power because it's also what the opposing party claims to believe and that's where she has some of them, at least in the legislative body and her influence over the other two branches of government.

She's amazing and is definitely a multi-level chess player.

I think he should, and it sounds like he is, waiting to run against Cruz again. Meanwhile, he sounds like he's putting his efforts into turning the state blue. That works out well for him in two ways and could put him in the Senate, that race is only two years off now.
