Can you believe the idiot is still a presidential contender?

In a sane world, the orange creature and the entire Republican Party would be road kill.

Then again, the Republicans don't worry about winning elections. They have raised stolen elections to an art form.

That's the only way they can keep "dear leader" in the White House and themselves in power. And you can bet that at this very moment they're "scrubbing voter lists," making up new "rules," and using every slimy method possible to rig what happens this November.

Turning out each and every Democratic voter this year is truly a matter of life and death.

1. I didn't believe he could have won the republican primary, let alone the presidency

I learned a hard lesson that my faith in human kindness and ability is a little off based. There are more crazy people that I expected.

3. I personally think Trump didn't think he could have won in 2016 republican primary in the beginning

I remember reports that he was aiming to get in the top 2-3 spots to get his name out there. He never thought he could have won when he started out.

Let's be honest here. Go back to everyone's words in 2015 (including republicans). None of them thought he had a chance or took him seriously.

Given all we know about what has been going for the last several years or so and the Russian infiltration of the Republican Party and other Republican power bases (Evangelicals, NRA, etc.) prior to the 2016 Election and even some of what was going on DURING the 2016 Election, it's clear that there were a LOT of complicated factors that enabled the 2016 Election to put Trump in the WH. Hopefully, it was the flukiest fluke of an Election and that we are walking into 2020 more aware and prepared to deal with likely shenanigans.

The strength of Biden in the primary in some counties that Hillary lost to Bernie gave me a bit of hope. Though, the coronavirus totally throw that to the backseat and we don't know how the virus will affect turnout comes November (could be positive or negative).

I am semi-confident that we have the numbers. But I won't ever say we have it in the bag like I did in 2016 until the election result is out. We have to tell everyone to vote like we can be losing (cause we still could). I just want to never have to hear Trump's name or his voice EVER.

He is out to make money like he always has. That won't change. He is making money off the presidency now and he will find other ways when he is voted out.

The republicans still worship him (literally).

They oppose everything that a modern, advanced and competitive country needs to maintain a position of strength and respect on the world stage.

The GOP of my father's era is no more. This current iteration of the Republican party is a fascist dream. They attract voters who are opposed everything but god, guns, greed and girls. That's their whole agenda in a nutshell. Their America is a military theocracy of the prosperity gospel variety, fueled by corporate profiteering, and ruled by an all powerful patriarch.

Bush was their good, God fearing man, and look what he did to the country. Trump is their reformed sinner, a man who saw the light and promised voters to deliver on their most fervent dreams... And he's doing that.
