Can we do something about the epidemic of stupid?

I’m getting fed up having to share the country with people who don’t have common sense or respect for science.
The gullibility shown every day by Trumpians, antiscience nuts, and people who can’t grasp the basics of government or climate change or economics is really frustrating.

I assumed the basic intelligence among the people in my facebook feed was reasonably intelligent. It is personally embarrassing to know I attract so many people who are perfectly happy to bloviate thoughts that are in no way fact based and make no logical sense.

Granted I am not anywhere near a Mensa member but come on....

this country is falling apart. trump never would have been taken seriously without them.
Another country will take over the lead because they have valued education, common good, and science and technology.

As long as there are republicans, they are in power now.
