Milwaukee police find 5 dead in house; suspect in custody
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Police found five people shot to death Monday inside a Milwaukee home and arrested the man who dialed 911 to report the slayings, the citys police chief said.
The police department received a call around 10:30 a.m. from a man who said his family was dead, Chief Alfonso Morales said during a brief news conference. When officers arrived at the house on the citys north side they found five victims ranging in age from 14 to 41, the chief said.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Mayor Tom Barrett told reporters at the house that a baby was found alive in the house. Investigators believe the shooter decided to spare the infant.

And then a group called THANS (Transition House Assocation of Nova Scotia) pointed out most of these attacks relate back to domestic abuse, "male violence is part of a bigger social problem of entitlement and toxic masculinity".

It sounds like this mass killing might have started from domestic abuse too.

On Friday, a group of Nova Scotian feminists wrote a statement that said misogyny and domestic violence were part of the shootings narrative. In the letter, they urged the RCMP to provide clarity on what they outlined as the femicidal aspects of the murders, demanding an inquiry into the investigation that would provide feminist analysis.
The letter acknowledged that not all of the victims were women or girls nine victims were men but the group said they viewed misogynist violence as being at the root of the attack.
On average, they said one woman or girl is killed every 2.5 days in Canada which has been a consistent trend for the last four decades.
