Overall, Bitecofer expects Democrats not just to hold the U.S. House, but to add to their majority. As for the Senate, Bitecofer writes, “Democrats are in superior positions in three of the four swing races they need to win a 50-vote majority and have five prospects from which to glean their fourth seat. That makes for a lot of points of weakness for Republicans to defend in an environment that grows more politically hostile by the day.”
