Service to our country, her personal sacrifice and her stellar credentials--this person should be allowed to be vice president, and or president.

How I wished she had run for president; she has given so much to this country and continues to serve as senator--she is an outstanding person--the best of us.

[note per du responses on edit deleted incorrect statement made re Senator Duckworth elgibility--it pains me that I made such an assertion that only required more research on my part. As well my homework today is to re-read constitution]

Her situation doesn’t seem much different than Ted Cruz last cycle.

She was a citizen at birth, because her father was a citizen. That's all a "natural born citizen" is, a citizen who was born that way, and wasn't naturalized.

Ted Cruz was also a citizen at birth.

to be eligible for the office of President. It requires that one be a citizen from birth rather than naturalized. She was, therefore, there need be no Amendment for her to be eligible.
